Bio: Aprajita was born In Mumbai, India.
She did a 3 year course in Textile Designing and worked for a brief time for an export house. There after she started working for herself, designing textiles using her own block prints, exhibiting and supplying products in Mumbai.
In 1995 she moved to Tokyo where she learnt Japanese and pursued the arts in Brush painting and Sumi – E.
In 2002 she moved to Singapore where she studied at LASALLE College of the Arts, a prestigious private arts institution.
After a short hiatus dedicated to raising her family, she now continues to pursue her passion for painting using using oils, mixed media, and polymer paint.
Aprajita’s works have been exhibited in group shows and fairs in Tokyo and Singapore, Paris, Sweden.
